Peshawar receives heavy rain

PESHAWAR: Heavy rain in Peshawar and its adjoining areas brought down the mercury on Friday.

Peshawar and different districts, Mardan, Swabi, Charsadda, Nowshera, Mansehra, Abbottabad and other upper parts of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa received rain.

Widespread rains have also been reported in most part of the province bringing down the mercury besides inundating the low-lying areas.

According to Met office more rain is expected in the next 24 hours in most part of the province including Peshawar, Mardan Swabi, Charsadda Malakand division and Hazara division. (APP)
