Two policemen suspended on creating panic

FAISALABAD: Two policemen were suspended over creating chaos, panic and public nuisance.

According to details, Constable Mazhar Ayub of City Jaranwala police station exchanged harsh words with driver Muhammad Siddique over performing duties at a cattle market.

Their arguments rose to fist fighting and abusing each other. They also resorted aerial firing which created chaos and panic among the people present at the cattle market.

Receiving information, DSP Jaranwala along with SHO Khadim Husain rushed the spot and immediately suspended both the policemen by confiscating their weapons.

Both police officials were also arrested and sent behind the bars while further investigation against them is under way.
