Strong security ordered during Urs at Ghazi's Mazar

KARACHI:Inspector General Police Mushtaq Ahmed Shah directed on Tuesday Additionalto AIG Karachi to ensure stern security measurements at Abdullah Shah Ghazi Mazar on the occasion of Urs of sufi saint starting from November 17 to November 19.

He instructed to increase deployment of police officials inside and outside of the Mazar alongside deployment of Bomb Disposal Squad.

He directed to install walkthrough gates besides taking other security steps.

He ordered to increase snap checking and picketing of surrounding area of the Mazar. Plainclothes mustalso be deployed there, he added.

He instructed to earmark parking lots at appropriate distance and to keep pushcart men away from the vicinity of Mazar. To maintain traffic flow proper steps be made including alternate routes.-PPI
