Eight held with drugs, weapons

MULTAN: Police claimed on Thursday to have arrested eight people and seized drugs and illegal weapons from their possession in separate incidents.

According to police, police raided various places and arrested eight people identified as Imran, Asif, Ahmad, Kashif, Husain, Sajid, Ramzan and Nazir, respectively from Daulat Gate, Gulgasht, Dehli Gate, Chehlak, Cup and Cantt.

The police recovered one kilogram of hashish and heroin, 200 bottles liquor and two pistols from their possession. Cases have been registered against the accused. (APP)
