KARACHI: Two terrorists accused of being involved in the blast at Seaview late on Wednesday night have been identified, Geo News reported.

CID Karachi sources have identified the terrorists as Shoaib and Atiq alias Sawati.

Initially according to DIG South Zone Shaukat Ali Shah, contradictory reports regarding the gender of one of the terrorists were given by the police.

One police official claimed that a woman was among the terrorists killed in the blast but medical reports confirmed that no woman was killed.

Earlier on Thursday while speaking to the media outside parliament, Interior Minister Rehman Malik also confirmed that two terrorists had been identified and they belonged to Punjab and Sindh

Malik added that the brother of one of the terrorists is a sub-inspector in the police department, adding that he is also under investigation.
