Kayni, Allen did not talk Nato supplies: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: There was no talk of reopening Nato supplies in a recent telephonic conversation between Chief of the Army Staff Gen Ashfaq Pavez Kayani and ISAF commander Gen John Allen, ISPR said in a statement issued here.

The statement issued said the issue of Nato supply blockade was not brought up in the talk that both generals had over telephone on Dec12.

Reports claiming that the said phone call centered on reopening the Nato supply route were groundless, the statement added.

ISPR also warned against such fabrications.
