Student dead, 10 others hurt in mishap

RAJAN PUR: A student of 2nd class was killed while 10 others including eight students sustained serious injuries in a collision between a trailer and a rikshaw near Darbar Muhib Shah Rajan Pur here Friday.

According to Rescue 1122, a rikshaw was on its way to DCO office here when it collided with a speeding trailer coming from opposite side. As a result, a student Muhammad Afaq died on spot while other students--Ghulam Mustafa, Adnan, Mohsin, Hassan, Rashid, Aabid, Aamir, Muhammad Asif, school teacher Muhammad Ashraf and rikshaw driver Saifullah were injured

Rescue-1122 rushed the spot and shifted the injured to THQ hospital Jaam Pur. Four seriously injured were refereed to Nishtar Hospital.

Sadar police Jaam Pur have registered the case against the trailer driver.
