KARACHI: CNG filling stations have reopened Saturday morning at 9.00 A.M., after 24 hours shutdown, all across Sindh including the metropolis here, Geo News reported.
The closure was observed as part of Sui Southern Company (SSGC)’s gas load management plan according to which CNG stations owners were directed to close down filling stations for 24 hours from Friday 9.00 A.M. to Saturday 9.00 A.M. to ensure a smooth supply to domestic consumers and the Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC).
The filing stations witnessed a great rush of vehicles early in the morning as people rushed to get empty gas cylinders of their vehicles filled after 24hours.
Meanwhile, the commuters including the office goers, students and daily wage earners suffered most due thin public transport on the roads and most of them were forced to travel on the rooftops of the coaches in this chill weather.
