American rapper Kanye West has formally applied to change his name to Ye, according to a report on Wednesday.
The rapper applied to change his name nearly three after tweeting about it.
"The being formally known as Kanye West. I am YE," he had tweeted in September 2018.
According to BBC, Kanye West cited "personal reasons" for the name change in court documents filed with Los Angeles Superior Court.
