84th birth anniversary of Shaheed Bhutto celebrated

MULTAN: The 84th birth anniversary of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was celebrated here Thursday with enthusiasm and pledges from the party workers and leaders to continue the mission of martyred PPP leaders aimed at empowerment of ordinary people.

PPP local leaders including city president Khursheed Khan, M. Saleem Raja, Dr Javed Siddiqui, and Tariq Raza Khan cut the birthday cake in a ceremony here Thursday to open week long celebrations in the city.

While addressing the ceremony, the speakers said that ideology of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto would remain alive in the hearts of the people.

They said that Shaheed Bhutto gave nuclear power to the country while Mohtarma Shaheed Benazir Bhutto added missile programme to make the country's defence impregnable and save the future of our youth.

They said that PPP would continue to fight for the rights of the people under the leadership of PPP Co-chairman President AsifAli Zardari and PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. (APP)
