20kg hashish recovered, one held

PESHAWAR: Sarband Police on Tuesday foiled a bid of hashish smuggling from tribal area to down country and arrested the smuggler, police informed.

According to details, police on a tip off intercepted a suspected car bearing registration number FDE-4865 near Batta Thal area. During the search, police recovered 20kg hashish of finest quality from its secret cavities.

Police arrested the smuggler Shehroz s/o Muhammad Yaseen on the spot and registered the case for initiating investigations.
