ISLAMABAD: A Pakistan delegation headed by Federal Minister for Petroleum Dr. Asim Hussain has arrived in India to hold negotiations with regard to transit fee and security matters for Turkmenistan Gas Pipeline project.

According to sources at Petroleum Ministry, the negotiations to be held in New Delhi on January 24 will focus on security besides transit fee and other technicalities related to the Turkmenistan Gas Pipeline project.

Petroleum Minister Dr. Asim Hussain will also be holding a separate meeting with his Indian counterpart.

Under the project, Pakistan intends to import 1.30 billion cubic feet gas a day from Turkmenistan.
