HYDERABAD: Sindh High Court Hyderabad Circuit Bench has freed as many as 82 peasants who were held in debt bondage in 3 separate petitions here on Monday.

The single bench comprising Justice Syed Hasan Azhar Rizvi freed 31 peasants from Umerkot in a petition filed by one Ghumro Kholi through his counsel advocate Bhagwandas.

In another petition by Manthar Bheel represented by advocate Vishnudas, the high court freed 34 peasants from Gul Hassan Tunio village in Mirpurkhas district.

Similarly, 17 peasants from Sanghar district won liberty from debt bondage from the court in a petition by Sabu Bheel pleaded through his counsel advocate Taj Muhammad Qaimkhani. (APP)
