Fine of Rs 6,279,000 on power pilferers in Mepco region

MULTAN: Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) checking & surveillance teams imposed fine of Rs 6,279,000 on scores of electricity pilferers across the region during last six months of fiscal year 2011-12.

According to Mepco sources, checking & surveillance (M&S) teams raided at different places in the region and detected scores of electricity pilferers and fined them. (APP)
