Section 144 imposed around exam centre

ISLAMABAD: Sub-Divisional Magistrate Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) has imposed Section 144 Criminal Procedure Code (CRPC) banning entry of irrelevant persons within a radius of 200 yards around the examination centre for MA/MSc Examination of Punjab University.

According to an order issued here on Monday, during the examination of MA/MSc Part-1 examination no person other than bonafide candidates of the examination holding Roll Number slips from the Controller of Examinations, University of the Punjab, Lahore for the said examination or those members of staff and teachers of that or any other institution where examination is being held shall enter the examination hall.

It said that any infringement of this order shall be punishable under section 188 Pakistan Penal Code (PPC). (APP)
