Dead neonates were preserved for a month before dumping: doctors

KARACHI: The dead neonates, found stuffed in jars from Mehmoodabad area of the city, were preserved for a month before they ended up in trash, Geo News reported.

Five newborns were found in a garbage dump Tuesday, which were sent for forensic examination to Jinnah Hospital.

Provincial Health Minister Dr Sagheer Ahmed told Geo News that a four-member committee had been formed to look into the matter.
