Two trucks looted in Surab

QUETTA: Unknown armed bandits looted two trucks in different incidents on National Highway near Surab area of Kalat district.

Police said here Thursday that Quetta-bound truck carrying clothes from Karachi was on its way when seven armed robbers intercepted it and tied its driver and conductor with ropes. Later, bandits took away the goods worth of millions from the truck on late Wednesday night.

Meanwhile, another truck carrying goods of general stores was also heading to Quetta from Karachi when armed bandits intercepted it and took away all goods from the truck and snatched cash, mobile phones and valuables from the drivers and helper on gun point.

Police have registered a case and started investigation into the incidents. (APP)
