Cricket: Ajmal helps Pakistan restrict England to 129-6

ABU DHABI: Off-break bowler Saeed Ajmal bowled well to help Pakistan restrict England to 129-6 in the third and final Twenty20 International here at the Sheikh Zayad Stadium on Monday.

Saeed Ajmal finished on four for 23 as pacer Aizaz Cheema was the only other wicket-taker who claimed one for 25.

However, the other three bowlers were accurate enough to restrict England for whom opener Kevin Pietersen was the only batsman.

Now, Pakistan need 130 runs to win the match and the series of three T20s.

Pakistan won the first match by eight runs and England won the second by 38 runs. Both T20s were played in Dubai.

Earlier, Pakistan made a clean sweep against England in the three-Test series while England whitewashed Pakistan in the four-match One-day International series.
