Loadshedding protests continue in FSD

FAISALABAD: Protests against loadshedding continued here on Tuesday as angry residents took to the streets and burnt tyres.

On the appeal of traders, a shutter down strike was observed in the city against prolonged loadshedding which is exceeding 16 hours daily.

All shops in the city remained closed and the roads vacant as a heavy contingent of police has been deployed to thwart any untoward incident.

Petrol and CNG stations were also shut in the city.
