Rain, hail lash Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: The first summer rainfall which came along with hail turned the weather pleasant in Hyderabad and surrounding areas on Thursday.

The meteorological office measured 9.5-millimeter rain as the temperature dropped from the peak of 41 degree celsius to 22 degrees Celsius in the evening, turning a hot and humid day into a pleasant evening.

The last time it occurred was about 5 to 6 years back, he recalled. (APP)
