23 accused arrested in 24 hours

KARACHI: Police of all five districts of Karachi arrested 23 accused including proclaimed offenders and absconders in different actions against criminals during last 24 hours.

According to police report two encounters also occurred during the actions while two dacoit gangs were busted and 16 pistols, a Kalashnikov and five snatched mobile phone sets were recovered from the arrested accused.

Police have initiated formal investigation after lodging cases, the report said. (PPI)
