Ye is divorcing his wife, Kim Kardashian, given the ex-couple is on one page regarding the splitting of wealth; however, on the question of children custody, a major legal battle may be in the making, per PageSix.
The US tabloid reported that there's scant chance that the former power couple agrees on custody of their four children North, 9; Saint, 6, Chicago, 4; and Psalm, 3.
The reality star filed for divorce from the rapper in 2021 and had been "co-parenting" better.
However, cracks are visible in the matters of children's upbringing, especially on education, between the parents, as Ye told Tucker Carlson that he would not "compromise" on kids' education.
"Right now we've come to a compromise — but I'm not finished because I don't compromise — but we've come to a compromise that my kids come to my school after school and they learn choir," he told Carlson.
To make his case strong, Ye also roped in an A-list lawyer, Robert Stephan Cohen, known for representing billionaires in divorce cases.
Also, the cosmetic mogul is not convinced to send kids to West's school, which has not been accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
Sources exclusively told the tabloid that Kardashian refuses to talk to West about their kids' schedules without her assistance.
"They have had zero communication in several weeks, and all communication regarding the kids' schedules is now coordinated through assistants," an insider told Page Six.
