KARACHI: Marketing companies have increased the price of Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) by Rs5 per kg, Geo News reported.
LPG is selling countrywide in the range of Rs99 to Rs110 per kg., according to a market survey conducted after the price hike.
Chairman LPG Distributors Association Abdul Hadi Khan told Geo News that marketing companies have increased the LPG price by Rs4-5 per kg. He said that despite two-fold increase in the sale of LPG, marketing companies have put a bar on its sale up to 800 tons only, which is highly unwarranted.
LPG in Karachi being sold at Rs99-100, in Khyber Pakhtunkhaw at Rs104, while in Mansehra/Battagram at Rs110 per kg, as a result of the increased price.
