Rescuers reclaim another martyr from Gayari avalanche site

SKARDU: Rescuers have reclaimed the body of another body from the frozen avalanche site in Gayari sector, Geo News reported.

So far a total of ten martyrs have been recovered from the site including Lt Colonel Tanvir-ul-Hassan, the battalion commander.

The recently recovered body has been shifted to Gamba Hospital for identification.

On April 7, 139 soldiers from the Northern Light Infantry Battalion along with 6 civilians were martyred, after an massive snowslide swept through a camp in Gayari.
