Rs1.7m looted in bank heist

LAHORE: Robbers looted Rs 1.7 million from a bank branch at Kot Lakhpat area here on Thursday.

According to police, three alleged robbers stormed into the bank at Kot Lakhpat and looted an amount of Rs 1.7 million at gunpoint.

SSP Operation reached the spot and ordered an inquiry into the incident.

Police said that two suspects had been taken into custody. (APP)
