Nowshera: Three drown after flashfloods

ISLAMABAD: At least three people drowned when they were washed away by gushing water as heavy rains lashed the area.

The heavy rain started early Wednesday morning the drains overflowed and water entered several houses.

The walls of many houses and five high-tension lines also fell during the rain, a private television channel reported.

The MET office has issued a flash flood warning for Kohat and Mardan and predicted more rains in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the next 24 hours. (APP)
