Khyber Agency: Women, children among 9 killed in mortar attack

KHYBER AGENCY: At least nine people including children and women were killed in mortar attack here, Geo News reported.

A mortar shell, fired from unknown location, landed on a residential area in the Qambar Khel area of Bara district, which killed nine people and seriously wounded dozens including children and women.

According to sources it could not be ascertained who fired and where the mortar shells came from.

The injured, some of them critical, were rushed to Hyatabad Medical Complex.
