Three assassins including woman arrested

ISLAMABAD: Sihala Police Islamabad has arrested three persons including a woman for their alleged involvement in a blind murder case and also recovered the murder tool from them, a police spokesman said on Tuesday.

According to details, a person Azam Khan spotted an unidentified body near graveyard in Swan area on August 26 and informed the Sihala Police about it.

Police shifted the body to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) for postmortem and the deceased was later identified as Muhammad Haleem resident of Peshawar.

Case was registered at Sihala police under section 302/34 against unidentified persons.

IGP Islamabad Bani Amin Khan and SSP Islamabad Yaseen Farooq directed SP (Rural) Sardar Sadaqat to ensure arrest of assassins at earliest who constituted a special team including DSP (Rural) Habib Ullah Niazi, SHO Sihala Qaisar Gilani and others.

This team worked hard to trace the killers and succeeded to arrest three persons including Wali Shah from Islamabad and Muhammad Ali, Nagina Bibi from Peshawar. (APP)
