PM in Minsk to hold talks with Belarusian leadership

MINSK: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif arrived in Belarus on a three-day official visit on Monday.
He was received by Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko, the Vice prime minister, and the foreign minister of Belarus.
The PM on his arrival in Minsk was given a red carpet welcome and guard of honour.
PM Nawaz will have a one-on-one meeting with the president of Belarus followed by delegation level talks.
He will also meet the prime minister of Belarus.
Meetings with Chairman of the House of Representatives and Chairman of the Council of the Republic are also scheduled. Belarusian State University will confer an honorary doctorate degree on PM Nawaz.
The president of Belarus and the prime minister will inaugurate a joint Pak-Belarus Business Forum.
PM Nawaz is accompanied by Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid, Minister for Food Security Sikandar Hayat Bosan, Minister for Defense Production Rana Tanveer and Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi.
