Five years after the mega success of his directorial debut A Star Is Born, Bradley Cooper is back with his next directorial venture, Maestro, based on the life of Leonard Bernstein, in which he is also taking the lead role.
The Hangover star has also co-wrote the screenplay of the biographical drama film with Josh Singer. The forthcoming movie is produced by Martin Scorsese, Steven Spielberg, and Cooper, among others.
The highly anticipated film will be focus on the life of the American composer Leonard Bernstein with special focus on his relationship and marriage to Costa Rican actor Felicia Montealegre.
It will take the audience from the early days of their relationship when they met at a party in 1946, up until her death in 1978.
Maestro is slated to hit the theaters on November 22, 2023, and will make its directorial debut on Netflix on December 20, 2023.
