LAHORE: The official website of the Punjab Assembly (www.pap.gov.pk) was hacked on Sunday.
The hackers of the website claimed to be from Bangladesh and said they hacked the website in retaliation to cyber attacks by Pakistani hackers.
The hackers said that in order to gain control of the website, action was needed to be taken against Pakistani hacker ‘Shadow 008.’
The Bangladeshi hackers have also threatened to carry out more cyber attacks if the FIA does not stop the Pakistani hacker.
Meanwhile, another hacker ‘Prime Shadow’ left a message on the website and said the page had been restored and asked the administrators of the website to contact him on Facebook to get access. The website became active 30 minutes after this message was published.
