KARACHI: Deputy Convener Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Dr Farooq Sattar, Sunday said all the bids of ambushing MQM under the cover of delimitation of constituencies or voters lists would be foiled, Geo News reported.

“Back in the day, we were subjected to a state-backed military operation. At least 15,000 of our workers were martyred in cold blood. It seems aim has once again been taken at us. This time they want to rob us of our vote bank”, said he addressing a rally on MQM’s Martyrs Day.

He said it was so highly unfortunate that not a single murderer ever saw the face of the court let alone conviction or sentencing.

He demanded of the rulers to take all those to the gallows who had the blood of MQM martyrs on their hands.

MQM workers were all set to thwart all the conspiracies being hatched against their party, Sattar added.
