Fortnight is dominating the Spotify charts as Taylor Swift's song became the most streamed track in a day.
The newly released song is part of a coveted eleventh album of the Grammy winner, The Tortured Poets of Department.
“Taylor Swift's Fortnight (feat. Post Malone) became Spotify's most-streamed song in a single day,” the streamer said.
Tributes pour to celebrate the hotly-anticipated album of the Carolina'shitmaker. Post Malone shared his congratulatory post on social media after the track topped the charts.
“It’s once in a lifetime that someone like taylorswift comes into this world,” the song’s co-writer said. “I am floored by your heart and your mind, and I am beyond honored to have been asked to help you with your journey," adding, “I love you so much,” he continued. “Thank you, Tay.”
Taylor, meanwhile, shared the background behind the Fortnight black and white promo while her face was covered with tattoos.
“When I was writing the Fortnight music video, I wanted to show you the worlds I saw in my head that served as the backdrop for making this music,” the 34-year-old added.
“Pretty much everything in it is a metaphor or a reference to one corner of the album or another.
“For me, this video turned out to be the perfect visual representation of this record.”
