Eight doctors fired for assaulting MS in Gujranwala

LAHORE: Action has been taken against the seventeen doctors who assaulted the Medical Superintendent of the DHQ hospital in Gujranwala.

Eight doctors were fired, six were suspended and three were transferred for the assault on the MS which took place on January 02.

The young doctors had assaulted the MS and other senior doctors at the DHQ hospital and several of them were arrested. The arrests led to the Young Doctors Association observing a strike in hospitals across Punjab which was called off on Friday.
