ISLAMABAD: Persistent low gas pressure and loadshedding have perturbed the residents of various sectors of the Federal Capital, particularly G-8, G-9 and G-10.

Most areas of the Capital city, especially the "G" series of sectors experience gas loadshedding and low pressure during most parts of the day due to which the people face problems to carry out household tasks.

Fazia Rasheed, a resident of G-8/4, said there was low gas pressure in her area, which forced many people to use LPG gas and other alternate methods for preparing of food.

"Gas is not available throughout the day and we are unable even to cook the food", said Summaya Janjua, another resident of G-8/4, while talking to APP.

She said they had to arrange readymade breakfasts for the children and on their return from schools / colleges, they again faced the problem in preparing lunch for them.

"We are getting extremely low gas pressure during day time for the last two months. The situation is aggravating day be day," said Ali Murtaza, a resident of G-9/1.

Fida, a resident of G-10/2, alleged that there was no gas problem in the elite class residential sectors. Only the middle class sectors I and G are facing gas loadshedding and low pressure problems, which is unjust and unfair, he added. (APP)
