Police arrest six motorcycle snatchers

LAHORE: Gulshan Ravi police claimed to have smashed a motorcycle snatching gang and arrested its five members including a lady and recovered motorcycles besides illegal weapons from their possession.

During preliminary interrogation, the gangsters confessed 51 motorcycle snatching incidents committed in various parts
of the city.

A special police led by DSP Gulshan Ravi arrested Asif Khan a ring leader of Pathan motorcycle snatching gang.

On his lead, the police also arrested his accomplices Hassan Khan, Riaz Ahmad, Ijaz Safdar and Zubaida Bibi. The police recovered 18 motorcycles, registration books, fake number plates besides illegal weapons.

The police traced 50 incidents of motorcycle lifting and the lifters are history sheeters.
