IDPs to have polling arrangements near their camps

ISLAMABAD: KPK Provincial Election Commissioner Sono Khan Baloch has said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Election Commission will make arrangements for voting of IDPS near their camps.

Talking to BBC, Coordinator of Pakistan Disaster Management Authority Faiz Muhammad Faizi also said that in the light of Peshawar High Court decision, they would take steps to ensure that no one among the IDPs is left without using his right to vote.

He said that "we have made a programme to establish polling stations outside of camps but there will be no polling station inside the camp".

Similarly, no one will be allowed to run election campaign inside the camps, he added.
