Tyler Perry has responded to questions about helping Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.
In an interview with The Sunday Times this week, the actor and producer was asked if he assisted Meghan and Harry when they moved to the US in 2020.
Tyler bluntly responded, "I didn’t," adding, "Meghan is from California. She knows California well. So there was nothing to prepare them for."
However, Tyler added that he had learned that discussing the Sussexs only leads to media attention.
"But I will say this: what I learnt about mentioning them — because there’s this insatiable appetite to know all about them — is that any question that is asked becomes the headline of anything I say," Tyler shared.
It is worth mentioning that this response comes after Harry and Meghan revealed in their interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021 that Tyler offered them place and security when they stepped down from their royal roles.
“We didn’t have a plan and we needed a house and he offered security as well so it gave us breathing room to try to figure out what we were going to do,” Meghan revealed at the time.
