Retired army official killed by driver

ISLAMABAD: A retired army official was killed on Sunday at his house allegedly by his driver here in Sector F-7/2, police said.

Major (retd) Anwar Uddin in his 80s was residing with his wife.

On Sunday morning, their driver Shakeel along with his two accomplices stormed in their room and took away cash and other valuables.

On resistance, they hit Major Anwar Uddin in the head and killed him.

The alleged killers managed to flee from the scene.
