Karachi police arrest 116 accused

KARACHI: Karachi Police on Monday claimed to have arrested 116 accused, including 12 absconders, one proclaimed offender during 124 raids and recovered 15 different kinds of arms and ammunition.

The police also took different action against those people who were involved in infringement.

A police report said that Bin Qasim and new Karachi police conducted raids and arrested three and one accused, respectively, involved in murder cases. Sukhan and Mobina Town police arrested two extortionists in different raids.

Rizvia and Taimoria police took actions against criminals and arrested two dacoits, 11 accused involved in illegal arms cases and three accused involved in drug cases.

According to the report police arrested 78 accused, 12 absconders and one proclaimed offender in different raids.

Police arrested 37 people involved in violation of ban on billion riding, and running vehicles with tinted glasses and fancy number plates. (PPI)
