Terror bid foiled in Peshawar; 5kg bomb defused

PESHAWAR: Police on Tuesday foiled a terror bid in Peshawar and defused a bomb in Matni, the outskirts of the city, Geo News reported.

According to police, explosive material was planted in Gulshanabad area within the jurisdiction of Matni police station. On the information, Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) was called in.

BDS personnel timely responded and foiled terror bid by defusing the bomb of 5kg.
