ISLAMABAD: Law enforcement agencies have found an explosives laden vehicle parked near the Chak Shahzad farmhouse, residence of former military ruler Gen (retd) Pervez Musharraf.

Geo News correspondent said that the Bomb Disposal Squad defused the explosives before the vehicle was shifted to Shehzad Town police Station.

According to reports, security has been beefed up around the farmhouse, which has been declared a sub-jail after Mr Musharraf was sent on 14-day judicial remand in judges detention case.

The former strongman faces threats from various terrorist organizations including the Pakistani Taliban, Baloch militants and Ghazi Force.
