Brody Jenner slams Caitlyn Jenner for 'abandoning him' for the Kardashians

Brody Jenner has opened up about his relationship with his parent Caitlyn Jenner.

In an interview with Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, he candidly also talked about fatherhood.

“I'd randomly see him — 'him' at the time — you know, here and there,” The Hills star began by saying. “But, mom would tell me that I would write on cards, 'Why doesn't dad call me on my birthday?'”

For those unversed, Caitlyn Jenner was married to Linda Thompson from 1981 to 1986 and share two sons Brody Jenner and Brandon Jenner together.

Recalling when his father legally transitioned into a woman in September 2015, he said, “I think not having Bruce around growing up and her doing that transition, it was tough just being her son.”

Referring to his daughter Honey with his partner Tia Blanco, Brody said, “I just had a beautiful little daughter. I'm not living for myself anymore. I'm living for her.”

“I think it's gonna make me a better father. I'm gonna do the exact opposite of, as far as being there for her, as my father did for me.”

“I had an incredible mother. Father, Bruce, at the time, wasn't around that much. They split, and then he met a woman. She had kids as well. The woman that he met ... they had kids together.”

Caitlyn tied the knot with Kris Jenner in 1991 and they have two daughters together Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner. The ex-couple parted ways in 2015.

Before concluding, the TV personality revealed a message that he received from his parent and admitted, “Just recently, I got a real, sincere apology, It was the first time in my life that I've ever gotten an apology. You know, I'm sorry for not being there, and honestly, it meant a lot.”
