Scott Eastwood, the son of Clint Eastwood, said the legendary director is doing good after he lost his longtime girlfriend, Christina Sandera, six months ago.
In a chat with People, the Fury star said, "He's good. He's doing good," adding, "He's a survivor, a trouper."
The Academy-winning filmmaker is known for his resilience, having "coming out of the Great Depression, and then he was young during World War II. He saw a lot of struggle."
So, in this context, one of eight kids said, "It's in our blood. You don't complain. You don't whine. You just do. There is no room for complaining."
Scott also credited his father for his career choice, "He's the reason I'm in this industry. It's like anybody. If your dad's a carpenter, maybe you'd become a carpenter."
Clint, meanwhile, had been in a relationship with Christina for a decade. She died last July at 61 from a heart attack.
"Christina was a lovely, caring woman, and I will miss her very much," he said at the time.
