Queen Camilla made an emotional confession while reflecting on the British equestrian team's success at the Paris Olympics.
The Queen Consort reveled she watched their achievements on television with tears in her eyes during a reception at Clarence House.
Camilla praised the team's impressive performance, which yielded 12 medals, while thanking them them for making Britain proud.
Welcoming members of the British equestrian teams, King Charles’ beloved wife said, "It made us all feel very proud to be British," per The Express.
"I'm sorry I wasn't there but I was watching very keenly every bit of it on the television and it really did bring tears to the eyes,” she emotionally revealed.
The Queen Consort continued: "Thank you to the whole team for what you do and let's keep British best."
This comes after it was revealed that Prince Harry’s fight against the British government over police security for him and his family during their UK visits has left King Charles feeling embarrassed.
According to The Mirror, Royal correspondent Richard Palmer claimed that it did not sit well with Charles when Harry filed a lawsuit against the UK government.
"The King is said to find it embarrassing that his son is taking legal action against His Majesty's Government,” they revealed.
“He is also said to find it infuriating that Harry claims his father is in a position to overturn the decision to refuse him guaranteed police protection. 'He's the King, he could sort that out any time he wants.’”
