South Africa have added all-rounder Corbin Bosch to their 15-player squad for the Champions Trophy in Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates as a replacement for injured fast bowler Anrich Nortje.

The 30-year-old made his national team debut this season and played his only One-Day International in a 36-run defeat to Pakistan in Johannesburg in December 2024.

He is son of former Test player Tertius Bosch and brother of Eathan Bosch, who is part of the Proteas squad and among the four players uncapped at international level playing the Tri-Nations Series in Pakistan.

Corbin will also feature in the ongoing Tri-Nations tournament with hosts Pakistan and New Zealand, but will only be available for the team's second game against the home side on Wednesday.

South Africa will take 18-year-old fast bowler Kwena Maphaka to the Champions Trophy as a travelling reserve, meaning they can bring the all-rounder into the squad in the event of injury.

The team has appointed former Pakistan international all-rounder Yasir Arafat as a consultant for the tournament.

After defeating Pakistan on Saturday, New Zealand will take on South Africa on Monday at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore in the Tri-Series warm-up for the Champions Trophy, which begins when the Black Caps take on tournament hosts Pakistan again in Karachi on Feb. 19.

South Africa Champions Trophy squad:

Temba Bavuma (captain), Corbin Bosch, Tony de Zorzi, Marco Jansen, Heinrich Klaasen, Keshav Maharaj, Aiden Markram, David Miller, Wiaan Mulder, Lungi Ngidi, Kagiso Rabada, Ryan Rickelton, Tabraiz Shamsi, Tristan Stubbs and Rassie van der Dussen.
