KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) demanded re-election across Karachi over claims of massive rigging.
Flanked by the party leaders at a press conference here, Dr Arif Alvi said that his party would present evidence of rigging in the metropolis to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and the courts.
“Our women were forced to leave polling stations at gunpoint,” he claimed, adding that later some political activists began stamping ballot papers in favor of their party with impunity.
The PTI leader called for fresh polling across Karachi with the assistance of federal government's staff.
