KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leaders Faryal Talpur, Sharjeel Inam Memon, Owais Muzaffar Tapi and Imran Zafar Laghari and Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah emerged victorious in general elections 2013.

Faryal Talpur, sister of President Asif Ali Zardari, won NA-207 Larkana seat in general elections. According to unofficial results, Faryal won the seat with a heavy majority by securing 70,800 votes against Pakistan People’s Party-Shaheed Bhutto chief Ghinwa Bhutto.

PPP candidate Sharjeel Inam Memon won PS-50 Hyderabad-VI seat with 32,000 votes.
According to unofficial results, Sharjeel, the formers Sindh Information Minister, got 32,000 votes, while his rival independent contender Khawand Buksh secured 13,740 votes.

PPP candidate Owais Muzaffar Tapi clinched PS-88 Thatta-5 seat by securing 27,100 votes, while his rival contender Haji Usman, an independent candidate, obtained 12,300 votes, say unofficial results.

PPP candidate Imran Zafar Laghari won NA-233 Dadu-2 seat by securing 46,872 votes.
According to unofficial results, Laghari obtained 46,872 votes, while his rival candidate of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) received 37,732 votes and stood second.

PPP leader Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah secured NA-199 Sukkur seat by obtaining 72,584 votes. According to an official results, Shah got 72,584 votes and his rival contender Inayatullah belonging to Pakistan Muslim League-F received 27,252 votes. (PPI)
