MQM candidate Farooq Sattar clinches NA-249 Karachi seat

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) candidate, Dr Farooq Sattar, has won NA-249 Karachi seat by securing 108000 votes in general elections, Geo News reported.

It may be noted here that Muttahida Qaumi Movement has emerged second largest party of Sindh by securing 12 National Asembly seats.

Jamaat-e-Islami, Mohajir Qaumi Movement and Sunni Ittehad Council had boycotted the polls and other major parties including MQM and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) had alleged rigging in Karachi.
