PML-N nominates Nawaz Sharif as prime minister

LAHORE: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz has nominated party chief Nawaz Sharif as prime minister of Pakistan, sources said on Sunday.

The sources said that the final decision in this regard would be taken by the parliamentary board of the party. Meeting of the parliamentary board would be held on May 28.

The PML-N has nominated Shahbaz Sharif, younger brother of Nawaz Sharif, for the post of Punjab chief minister.
